We Love Our Contributors
We'd like to give a little
recognition to two of our most special and talented contributors.
These people are killing it. And you should recognize, fool.
DRE of Chief JapanAndres “Dre” Zuleta was born in DC, and soon after was trotting the globe and currently lives in Tokyo with a drum kit and a fish. Why Tokyo? Where else can you eat a still-beating fish heart with extra pure soy sauce? (Don’t tell his fish about that one). As a music lover and drummer, he’s helped us get some great interviews with bands using his laudable people and language skills (fluent in Spanish and Japanese. And ingles).
Dre’s future plans include more globe trotting and eventually, fathering a few Brazilian children.
NATSUKI of Chief JapanNatsuki comes with no last name and no photo, but she does exist. She was born in Chiba, near Tokyo, where she lives today. In ten years, she hopes to…still be living in Tokyo, with a baby yellow summerhouse just outside the city. She cites jewelry and reading as hobbies, and sushi as her favorite food, and is maybe the nicest person in the world. Like many Japanese, she seems calm and cute as a cupcake, but there’s a lotta fire under there, as is proven by being impressively and consistently on top of her shit. Nats is involved in not one but three magazines in two languages and also runs a dog park on the weekends.
